Tucson, Arizona

Dust off your boots! Charlotte and Johnny are tying the knot in the wild Arizona desert.

We’re going back to our roots to say “I do” in the place where we first fell in love, seven years before. Home of cowboy legends, soaring saguaros, endless sunshine and wide open spaces, Arizona captured our hearts and we couldn’t imagine a better place to start the rest of our lives together. We are so excited to set out on our greatest adventure, surrounded by all the people we love most.

All the wedding details and important information will be shared here on this website. More details will be added as our date gets closer.

Saddle up – it’s going to be a weekend to remember! We can’t wait to see you there!

All our love –

Charlotte & Johnny

Travel & accommodations

TANQUE VERDE RANCH

Established as a short-horn cattle ranch in 1868, Tanque Verde Ranch is one of the oldest guest ranches in the United States. Today, guests can still set out on a morning trail ride from the original mesquite-fenced corral, or end a long day with drinks in the Dog House Saloon just as ranch-hands did 150 years before.

Tanque Verde Ranch spans 60,000 acres to the east of Tucson, bordering both Saguaro National Park and Coronado National Forest. The ranch is the oldest continually operated business in Tucson, has the largest herd of riding horses in Arizona, and is consistently ranked among the top resorts in the U.S. by Conde Nast Traveller.

Stay a little longer

TUCSON, ARIZONA

We met in Tucson early June of 2014. We were living on opposite corners of the same neighborhood right next to the University of Arizona. Johnny was earning his minor in marketing that summer; Charlotte was working part time at a local church and taking classes for web design.

When it came time to decide where we wanted to get married, we weighed a lot of options but kept coming back around to one – Arizona.

Arizona was a place that neither of us expected to fall in love with, and yet we did. It’s the place where we first met, where we started our journey together, a place we called home, and it just seems right that it should be where we start this next chapter – the rest of our lives as husband and wife.

We want everyone to know how grateful we are for your continued love and support, and for the time and expense to travel out to this small desert city to share in this special moment with us. It may not be the first place that comes to mind for a destination wedding – but we’re really glad you’re coming along for the ride anyway!

There’s a lot to love about Tucson, and if you get the opportunity to venture beyond the Ranch, we hope you spend a little time exploring one of our favorite cities. We put together a few resources with our favorite things to do, see and eat while you’re in town. You can find these guides via the links below.

With love, Charlotte & Johnny
